I knew from the first strike of my hammer on hot iron that I wanted to be a blacksmith. That was 25 years ago. I enjoy the challenge of finding new and unusual ways to forge steel. Focusing on fine details, subtle texture, and clean lines. I want create something truly different.

My work is not meant to challenge or to shock. I want my work to express a quiet strength. The work is delicate and refined and often has a sense of whimsy. Although the pieces can be rather complex the finished work has balance. I want the viewer to be draw to the details.
